Lancaster Live is a new weekend festival of live music, in the place of Lancaster Music Festival for 2025. Over 50 venues will host performances alongside a packed schedule of live local bands performing a free show in Market Square to ensure the festival is accessible to all.

Batala Lancaster will play at Lancaster Castle on the Saturday, with a 100-piece Mundo band, reviving our 20th anniversary performance, which was voted “favourite acoustic act” at Lancaster Music Festival 2024.

On Sunday we will play two sets in the city centre

• Saturday at 3:00pm and 3:40pm – Batala Lancaster with Batala Mundo – 100-piece band at Lancaster Castle.
• Sunday 3:50 – 4:10pm – Church Street
• Sunday 5:00 – 5:20pm – Market Square festival finale with Batala Mundo
