Mayday Mile raises over £300 For the RNLI

On May 1 the band paraded down Morecambe Prom from the Hovercraft station to the lifeboat station and back, joined by the Marine Conservation Society, local open water swimmers and members of the public to raise money for the RNLI Mayday Mile appeal.

On the day we raised £140 on our Mayday Mile sponsorship page, and £184.84 in the bucket collection.
Combined with the £1349.35 raised on our to previous busks and JustGiving page, this brings the total raised for the RNLI over the time they have been our nominated charity to £1757.35

This was our final fundraising event for the RNLI. We will be supporting a new charity, chosen by our members, for the next 12 months.
